Workshop supplies guide
Thanks for registering for Studio AriAna's watercolor workshop! These are essential supplies needed to create watercolor paintings and can be found at most art stores.
Brushes (Princeton, Escoda)
- Size 12, 8 and 2 round
- 1" flat
- Size 8 mop
- Size 2 liner (optional)
Paint (Daniel Smith, Winsor Newton, Sennelier) - you should get watercolor paint tubes
- Burnt Umber
- Scarlet Red/ Windsor Red
- Transparent Orange
- Rose pink
- Ochre yellow
- Lemon yellow
- Quinacridone gold
- Olive green
- Ultramarine blue
- Cobalt blue
- Cobalt turquoise
- Lavender
- Payne's grey
- Neutral tint
Palette - a flat palette with wells and a large mixing area
Paper - we will provide paper in class, but for practice at home you should get 100% cotton cold press (Arches, Fabriano, Strathmore 400 series)
Other supplies - Hard board or cardboard (12"x16") to mount paper, pencils, eraser, painter's tape, large cup to hold water.
